MadeWest Brewery and Rancho Ventura invite you to a special Hike & Brew event on Sunday, June 17th 11 am – 3 PM. Your ticket includes MadeWest brew tasting, food and music. In addition you'll receive a four-pack of special Two Trees Pale Ale by MadeWest X Two Trees Brewing. You can pick up the limited edition 4-pack at MadeWest on June 19th or after. Hike up to Two Trees with us and hang out to enjoy the view and the fun. Food and music included. Register to purchase your tickets today. 100% of the ticket sales will be donated to Rancho Ventura to help in conserving these hillsides for us all to protect and enjoy. Children are free. Must be 21 and over to purchase a ticket. Event is limited to 125 paid guests.
About the Event:
MadeWest and Rancho Ventura's goal is to conserve the land and invite the public to experience this beautiful land for themselves. Registered guests will meet at the Poinsettia Pavilion top parking lot. Due to the nature of the terrain the hikes can be considered moderately difficult and out-and-back up and down steep slopes. The distance from Poinsettia Pavilion to Two trees is approximately .9 miles with an elevation gain of 734 feet over the course of the hike. Average hike times take between 30-45 minutes to reach Two Trees.
We ask all guests to:
Wear proper attire for the weather on the given day
Apply sunscreen
Wear appropriate footwear
Pace themselves during the duration of the hike according to their ability
Bring water or a sports drink for hydration
Bring a camera for photo opportunities
No dogs – no exceptions
Guests will get to visit the permanently preserved land in the Ventura Hillsides, take in incredible views overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Channel Islands and the Cities of Ventura and Oxnard, and the Los Padres National Forest and Topa Topa Mountains to the North and Santa Monica Mountains to the Southeast. There will be incredible photo opportunities. Hike leaders will teach the story of the land, History of Two Trees, facts about wildlife and more during the hike. Pre-registry is required to attend the event.
Note: Hike will be rescheduled in the event of bad weather. All guests are requires to sign waiver of liability at the onset of each outing. Over 21 guests must also need to show ID. Hikes is limited to 125 adults plus children. Parking space is limited to 150 vehicles so guests are urged to consider carpooling.
